Meet Zoey, an impulse decision, made by Mr. Man who thought that she was a lot cheaper than all the therapy the kids are going to need after what they have experienced in the last year, or even just the last week. The kids have learned to grieve enough this year, they don't need to wallow anymore.
I'm not gonna lie, Mr. Man was right on this one. She is providing a whole lot of love to those who are hurting the most. There are broken hearts, in need of mending. For me, this was the moment where I exhaled for the first time in a week. Thank goodness for puppy love.

Her ears are so soft you could eat them up!
She's beautiful - so glad she's helping - she'll be that much more special.
Oh great. Cimblog(tm) is gonna eat her ears. Cuz there hasn't been enough tragedy!
oh. I see your point. [spits out ear and dries it off]
That is a freakin' cute puppy.
That last photo just melts me.
Your writing is always so awesome. I had to smile at how you said the puppy was cheaper than the therapy that your kids would need. Yay for Mr. Man. That is one sweet looking puppy, and I bet some good memories will be made with her!
Piper says hi. :)
After your last two posts made me weep, I was glad to have one to make me smile. And I am so glad for your family that you now have a sweet puppy to love on you! Plus all that puppy-ness is entertaining and I'm sure will lead to some interesting reading. {HUGS} to you all!
